Service overview
A retail sign has only seconds to win a passer-by, usually at walking distance and often under mall lighting that competes with every neighbouring unit. Al Masa Advertising & Publicity makes lightbox fascias, illuminated storefront lettering, projecting blade signs and entrance branding for shops, restaurants and showrooms in Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah and the rest of the UAE.
Most malls and landlords publish signage guidelines covering size, depth, colour and light levels, and we design to them from the start. Our in-house print and fabrication teams produce the face, frame and wiring together, then our installers fit the sign outside trading hours when the site requires it.
Why advertisers choose it
A well-lit fascia makes the shop recognisable from the corridor or pavement before a customer reads a single word.
Lightbox faces can be swapped for seasonal offers while the frame and power supply stay exactly where they are.
Designing to the mall or landlord guideline from day one avoids rejected drawings and costly re-fabrication.
Our own electricians wire and test every sign, so the shopfront opens on schedule with the lighting working evenly.
Where it works best
- 01 Boutiques, cafes and restaurants opening a new mall unit.
- 02 Clinics, salons and service centres needing a clear street-facing fascia.
- 03 Showrooms and supermarkets rebranding every branch with one entrance look.
- 04 Franchise operators rolling out one approved sign across several emirates.

Can you make a sign that meets my mall landlord guidelines?
Yes. Ask the mall management for its signage criteria before design starts. We work within the permitted dimensions, materials and illumination, issue a shop drawing for sign-off, and make any changes before fabrication so nothing has to be rebuilt.
What is the difference between a lightbox and raised letters on a shopfront?
A lightbox glows evenly through a printed or cut face and is easy to update, while raised letters give a sharper, premium outline. Many shops combine the two, with a lightbox panel and a raised logo. We recommend a mix based on your frontage.
What should I send you before you start?
Send your logo as vector artwork, the brand colour references, a photo or drawing of the fascia and the unit number or location. If you rent, add the landlord contact so we can request the signage approval on your behalf.
